Childhood
Govind Ahuja was born on December 21, 1963, in Bombay (Virar Today). His mother is a former singer and actress Nirmala Devi, while his father is also a former actor Arun Kumar Ahuja, who is known as Aroon. Govind has five other siblings. He graduated from Vartak College with a Bachelor of Trade.
Acting Career
Immediately after college, Govinda, driven by her father, began to find work in the film industry. His uncle Anand gave him his first major role, in Tan-Badan, a film directed, in 1985. In 1986, he appeared in Love 86 and Ilzaam, both of them were great commercial success.
In 1989, he made more than half a dozen films, most of them were well received by the public and critics. Awaargi came out in 1991. That is an instant hit and is now considered a classic cult in India. Besides Govinda, this film also features Anil Kapoor and Meenakshi Sheshadri. Personal Life
Govinda married Sunita Munjal in 1987. They had two children together, Princess Tina Ahuja and Putra Yashvardhan. Tina is also an actress and debuted in 2015 with a role in a used husband.
